Syd Suknunun – Longest serving office bearer 

Mr Syd Suknunun, the evergreen retired educator, and community volunteer. For over 40 years, he has served different organizations in various designations. He is a Secretary par excellence, very thorough and meticulous in whatever he does and expects no less from others. He is a stickler for punctuality and meeting deadlines. He has served as the Secretary of Havenside Civic Association, Forkk (Friends of R K Khan) and the Gitanjali Hindu Temple. He is the incumbent for over 10 years of the Chatsworth and District Civic Federation. But his allegiance is to the Silverglen Civic Association where he is the longest serving Executive Member, the longest serving Secretary, a vice Chairperson and presently a Trustee. We believe that he is a classic example to emulate. It is our pleasure and honour to work alongside him for over 20 years. Syd do continue with the great work.
